What is reliability of topology?
Reliability of topology prediction is calculated by summing up the posterior probabilities
along the state path determined by the Viterbi algorithm in the HMMTOP program. It can be seen
in the plot below, that the reliability highly correlate with the prediction accuracy, measured in
a human benchmark set.

Predictions are sorted by reliability and the topology prediction accuracies on the bechmark set (red line),
the reliability on the same set (blue line) and the reliability measured on the whole transmembrane proteome
(magenta line) are plotted for the subset, whose reliability are larger or equal than the current reliability
value.
